Women's Soccer

Taking to the Pitch as Contenders

The women's soccer Hurricanes will be a team to be reckoned with as all the ingredients come together in 2008. In 2007, the Hurricanes rose to a national eighth place ranking before losing out in a hard fought ACAA semi-final. For many players this ending was bitter and they have returned to avenge last season's shortfall. The team will be a blend of returning veterans and an impressive slate of rookies all pushing for an opportunity to make a run at the ACAA title. A playoff spot is predicted and then watch out - this could be their year.
