Kenneth A. Morrissey Memorial Award
Description: Kenneth A. Morrissey grew up on a farm in Earnscliffe, PEI. He left the Island as a young adult and over the years was successful in setting up several businesses. He never lost his connection to PEI and was always willing to help an Islander realize their dreams. Education, he felt, was a very important tool to achieving success. This $2,000 award will be given annually to a PEI student enrolled in the second year of the Electronics Engineering Technology program.
Criteria: Applicants must be PEI residents who are enrolled in their second year of the Electronics Engineering Technology program, from a rural or agricultural background and demonstrate financial need. Consideration also will be given to those who exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit. Students must apply for the award. Applications to include a completed Application Form including the Financial Information section. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the College Registrar.
Note: You must be a PEI resident to apply for/receive this award.
