Erskine Smith Memorial Award for the Performing Arts
Description: Erskine Smith was the founder and Artistic Director of The Victoria Playhouse. He was also an educator and mentor, dedicated to sharing his knowledge and love of the theatre. Erskine enriched many lives by instructing and encouraging young people in the theatrical arts. The Erskine Smith Memorial Award for the Performing Arts has been established by family and friends in memory of his generous spirit.
Criteria: All first-year students who are entering second year of the Theatre Performance program are eligible to apply. Recipients will show exceptional promise in the theatrical performing arts and demonstrate financial need. Students must apply for the award. Applications to include a completed Application Form (including the Financial Information section). Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee appointed by the College Registrar.
