Description: Anne Louise Boswall contacted the Holland College Foundation in 2018 to create an entrance award honouring her grandfather, Stanley Bryant. Stanley was a capable, hard-working builder in the 1930s and 1940s who constructed many of the beautiful stately homes, now considered heritage properties in Charlottetown. Ms. Boswall established the award in memory of her parents, Dr. Graeme and Alberta (Bryant) Boswall, who met and graduated from Prince of Wales College. This annual award will be available to PEI students entering Holland College's Heritage Retrofit Carpentry program, who demonstrate financial need and strong academics.
Criteria: This annual award is available to PEI residents who have been accepted full-time into the Heritage Retrofit Carpentry program. Financial need and academic performance are primary considerations. Students must have a grade 12 (or equivalent) average of 70%. Students must apply for the award. Applications are to include a completed Application Form (including the financial information section). Selection committee appointed by the Registrar will make the selection.
Note: You must be a PEI resident to apply for/receive this award.
