and Hair Cuts All-in-One By Jason Cook A new service is now offered at the Atlantic Superstore on University Avenue. Style FX, a hairdressing salon, opened its doors Dec. 16 to the public in the former home of TLC Popcorn. One employee said the location is a great idea. “While one family member gets the grocery shopping done, the others can get their hair cut,” said Brenda Cudmore. In the three weeks the establishment has been open, Cudmore said most customers have been men, but added the discount available to seniors and students makes the salon a great place for everyone to get a hair cut. Students of Holland College, along with UPEI and Compu College students, receive a 15 per cent discount on hair cuts. Hair appointments can be booked at 892 0345, but walk-ins are accepted. Store hours are Monday - Wednesday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., Thursday - Friday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. |
