As a culinary school, our banqueting operation provides practical training for our students. Our students look forward to providing you with an amazing dining experience. Under the guidance of our world-class chef instructors, they will use produce from our Island farmers and fishers to prepare a menu tailormade just for you. The result is a memorable event for you—and an invaluable learning opportunity for them!
Food orders are required to book functions at The Culinary Institute of Canada, with minimum limits determined by party size and function type.
We operate the banqueting department only during the culinary school year, from mid-October until the end of April.
With flexible dining spaces, we can provide service for the most intimate or the most extravagant affair. The private dining room, located on the main floor of the Tourism and Culinary Centre, is perfect for smaller groups. Downstairs, we can accommodate medium-sized and larger groups.
Accommodates up to 250 guests seated at round tables, or up to 600 standing. The room can also be divided, accommodating up to 100 seated guests or up to 200 standing. This room is also fully equipped with audiovisual capabilities and a stage.
The perfect location for private dining or for smaller receptions and cocktail parties, the private dining room accommodates up to 60 seated guests or up to 165 standing.
