Walk In/Evening Clinics

Information on various walk in clinics is available from the Student Services & Athletics Office, Room 108, Charlottetown Centre.

Don't have a family physician?

Students who are without family doctors should contact the Provincial Registry at 368-6130 to place themselves on a waiting list of those wishing to acquire a family physician.

Students should also contact the Four Neighborhoods Community Health Centre who will attempt to assist students who do not have a community health family physician in finding one at their centre in Charlottetown as Centre openings become available. You will need to identify yourself as Holland College student when you call Barb in registration at 1-800-321-5492.

Women's Clinic

Dr. Christine Hoffman, Boardwalk Professional Centre, 20 Water Street Parkway, Charlottetown, offers a part-time Women's Clinic which is primarily for young women who need contraception, paps and/or gynecology advice. No referral is needed. Patients can call and book their own appointments at 367-3285.

Men's Clinic

A new Men's Clinic is operating out of the Boardwalk Professional Centre, 20 Water Street Parkway, Charlottetown. This clinic, staffed by two doctors, targets men age 30 and up as well as those who may be without a general practioner or are from out of province. Appointments can be booked by calling 367-8000.

PEI Pap Screening Clinic

The PEI Pap Screening Clinic is offered at the Cornwall Medical Centre. Women between the ages of 18 and 69 who have not had a Pap test in the last two years can now call the Pap Screening Clinic at 368-2010 or toll-free 1-866-818-7277 (PAPS) to book a test. Pap tests will be performed by a trained registered nurse under the supervision of Dr. David Stewart.
