Accommodations - Charlottetown Area
2008-2009

Please Note:
Residence is now full for the 2008/2009 academic year, please see our apartment listings below. The University of Prince Edward Island is accepting applications from Holland College students for more information or to apply on-line, visit their website.

Holland College is pleased to offer a smoke-free residence in the Charlottetown area.   All costs, including a $250 damage deposit are due and payable at registration. Fees are quoted on the full academic year - September - April 30th.   Occupancy is based on a one person per bed policy. Applicants for apartments will be matched as closely as possible based on the student profile (age, gender, programs, etc.) Students are encouraged to find their own roommates, whenever possible.

Although students can only be accepted into a Holland College residence AFTER they have been accepted into the College by the Admissions Office, we encourage you to apply to Residence when you apply for a program.  The initial application review date for residence applications is February 28.  Rental of rooms will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Once the facility is full, students will be offered an opportunity to be placed on an accommodations waiting list.  Once a unit or bedroom has been offered in a residence, a residence confirmation deposit of  $500 (Please Note: This residence confirmation fee is separate and distinct from the admissions confirmation fee) must be submitted to the Holland College Admissions Office before the deadline specified in the offer letter. The deposit will be applied towards the student's first semester's accommodations fee and is non-refundable after the date specified in the offer letter. The $250 damage deposit will be refunded when the student withdraws from the facility or at the end of the term provided the room is in the same condition as on the move-in date (with the exception of normal wear).
