Off-Campus Access to Restricted Resources

To access certain restricted online resources (such as article databases and encyclopedias) from off-campus, Holland College staff and students require a valid library services card with barcode. The barcode is affixed to the back of your staff/student card; it must be scanned once at any College resource centre for it to be activated.

When you attempt to access any protected resource from off-campus, you will be prompted to enter your 14-digit barcode number:



Enter the number without any spaces and you should be passed through directly to the resource.
