The video game sector is one of the fastest growing segments of the entertainment industry, with a global market of $30 billion. Game development is big in Canada, and on P.E.I., there are a cluster of video game companies paying $1.3 million in salaries each year.

Introduction to Video Game Art and Design

Credential Issued:	Certificate, Introduction to Video Game Art and Design
Prerequisite:	Grade 12 or equivalent
Tuition:	$2,500 (plus $900 in other fees)

Learn the fundamentals of art and design and how they will apply in the gaming industry. This course is excellent preparation for the Video Game Art and Design program.

All students successful in this program will be accepted into the new Video Game Art and Design diploma program starting September 2008.
