Basic Boating Safety Course

This eight-hour classroom course will improve the knowledge of operators of all recreational craft by promoting a desire to learn about safety, care and respect for the marine environment and common sense and etiquette in sharing the waterways. It encompasses the most up-to-date and relevant subject matter pertaining to basic safety in Canadian waters. This course is Canadian Coast Guard accredited and upon successful completion, graduates will earn a Boating Operator's License that is recognized nationally.
