Canadian Tourism & Hospitality Experience

The Canadian Tourism and Hospitality Experience program is designed to support the professional development of students from tourism and hospitality related programs outside Canada. The program is two to four months in duration and provides students with the opportunity to learn and experience tourism and hospitality services in a Canadian context. The academic components of this program will be provided by the Tourism and Culinary Centre where students will attend classes and intermingle with Canadian students.

The on-the-job training (OJT) component of the program will utilize tourism and hospitality businesses throughout P.E.I. The majority of the program will be spent in the school environment with the remaining time spent in a non-paid work environment. The combination of in-school and in-industry makes this program very unique and very practical for international students.
