Canadian Agricultural Skills Service (CASS)

The Canadian Agricultural Skills Service (CASS) is a federally funded program aimed at assisting farm families to improve their income and income choices. It will do this through support for training in farm business related skills, or skills for off-farm employment.

Funded by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), CASS is being delivered on Prince Edward Island by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DAFA), and by Holland College. Holland College is the first organization in Canada to deliver the CASS program to the farming community.

For further information about CASS including eligibility, requirements, and how to apply, visit www.peifarm.ca or contact the Provincial CASS Coordinator at (902) 566-9642.
